The Basicali service is a no-frills service aimed at websites for individuals and small businesses.

BasiCali features a unique combination of new domain name registration, Windows 2008 web hosting and one individual mailbox (plus a catchall). You can upgrade your package at any time by adding further mailboxes, or upgrade to the InterCali or SuperCali packages. For further details, see below:

• Clam-AV Anti-virus protection with regular virus definition updates
• Basic user configurable spam filters
• Optional advanced anti-spam filtering service with regular spam definition updates
• Check and retrieve mail from other external POP mail accounts
• Autoforward and autoreplies

Web hosting platform

• Windows 2008 server running IIS webservers

Mail hosting platform

• Dual Pentium/Xeon Windows 2003 servers running hMailserver
• SCSI Raid disk arrays to protect your mail plus full daily backups

Further mailboxes can be added to any BasiCali Windows package. These are charged at £5.00 per annum per mailbox.

You will need to register or transfer a domain name for use with your BasiCali Windows package. The cost of the first domain is included in the package price. Further domains can be added to your BasiCali Windows package allowing your website to have multiple identities (eg www.abc.com and www.abc.co.uk). Each additional domain is charged at £25.00 per annum. * The above prices exclude VAT.
