Service Contract for Calico UK SuperCali Web Hosting
  1. Service Description
    1. The Service is "SuperCali", comprising a combination of domain name, supported web hosting, email and monthly bandwidth allowance, plus entitlement to Help Desk support. The web hosting is on a choice of Windows or Linux servers.
    2. The available combinations of webspace, mailboxes and bandwidth are detailed in paragraph 5.
  2. Domain Name Hosting
    1. Calico UK provides fully supported Domain Name Servers and management of your domain records for the duration of your account.
    2. Calico UK will make no additional charges for modifying records if you wish to transfer your domain record to another DNS server. In these cases the annual domain name charge of £30.00 (£40 for Centralnic domains) is still payable to Calico UK.
    3. If you wish to transfer your domain in its entirety to a new Registrar, no further charges will be levied by Calico UK.
  3. Resource Policy
    1. Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization. Calico UK may implement paragraph 3.3 at its sole discretion.
    2. Should a customer exceed their monthly bandwidth allowance, a warning message will be sent to their email account. If the bandwidth remains higher than the allowed transfer then customers will be informed and moved to the next or most appropriate SuperCali package.
    3. When a website is found to be monopolising the resources available Calico UK reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers.
  4. Domain Registration Requirements
    1. Nominet Requirements for .uk Ending Domain Names
      If you are ordering a co.uk, org.uk, ltd.uk, or plc.uk domain name then your order is also subject to Nominet's Terms and Conditions. A full copy of these can be viewed at http://www.nominet.org.uk/go/terms.
    2. ICANN Requirements for .com, .net, etc Ending Domain Names
      If you are ordering a com, net, org, info, or biz domain name then your order is also subject to ICANN's Terms and Conditions. A full copy of these can be viewed at http://www.icann.org/dndr/udrp/policy.htm.
    3. ENOM Requirements for Registering Domain Names
      If your domain is registered via ENOM then your order is also subject to ENOM's Terms and Conditions. A full copy of these can be viewed at http://www.enom.com/terms/agreement.asp.
    4. Tucows Requirements for Registering Domain Names
      If your domain is registered via Tucows then your order is also subject to Tucows's Terms and Conditions. A full copy of these can be viewed at http://resellers.tucows.com/contracts/tld/exhibita.
  5. Service Charge

      Bandwidth values are the monthly allowances.
    2. Additional mailboxes for SuperCali Windows are charged at £24.00 for 5; Secondary domains are charged at £15.00 for a domain sharing the same webspace and mailboxes as an existing SuperCali domain.
    3. As charges include your domain registration for one year all accounts are set up on an annual prepay non refundable basis. Although Calico UK reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment.
    4. Renewal payment is due on the anniversary of the date the account was established and you will be invoiced automatically at the end of their prepay period unless a written cancellation notification has already been received. Domains will automatically be renewed by us to protect the name. To retain your domain name and services payment must then reach us within 14 days.
  6. Minimum Period of Service
    1. A Minimum Period of one year will apply to the Service under this Contract. Service period may be extended in blocks equaling the Minimum Period.
  7. Calico UK Responsibilities
    1. Calico UK will manage availability and any failure of the Service so as to restore Service as soon as is reasonably practical. The Service is managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
    2. The Service provides a Telephone Helpdesk for direct Customer support. Third party Dial-In Users are not supported by Calico UK.
    3. The Helpdesk will be available from 9am to 5:30 pm, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Outwith these times service faults can be reported by email or by a recorded telephone message.
    4. If the Customer reports a fault in the Service, Calico UK will respond by carrying out one or more of the following actions:
      1. providing advice by telephone or email, including advice, where appropriate, as to tests and checks to be carried out by the Customer.
      2. where possible, carrying out diagnostic checks from Calico UK premises.
    5. Calico UK is only responsible for faults on the Service.
  8. Customer Responsibilities
    1. Customers must inform Calico UK if they are going to sell a domain name. The Customer has no right to sell or transfer any other part of the service to any other person.
InterCali (Legacy Service)
  1. Service Description
    1. The Service is "InterCali", comprising a combination of a domain name, supported web hosting, email mailboxes, plus entitlement to Help Desk support. The web hosting is on a Windows server.
    2. The basic combination of webspace and mailboxes supplied is 10MB of webspace and three mailboxes, one of which is reserved as a "catchall" mailbox. Customers can buy further webspace and mailboxes to add to this combination.
  2. Domain Name Hosting
    1. Calico UK provides fully supported Domain Name Servers and management of your domain records for the duration of your account.
    2. Calico UK will make no additional charges for modifying records if you wish to transfer your domain record to another DNS server. In these cases the annual domain name charge of £30.00 (£40.00 for Centralnic domains) is still payable to Calico UK.
    3. If you wish to transfer your domain in its entirety to a new Registrar, no further charges will be levied by Calico UK.

    2. The combination of webspace and mailboxes supplied is 50MB of webspace and a 1GB mail service. Customers can buy further mailboxes to add to this combination.
  2. Domain Name Hosting
    1. Calico UK provides fully supported Domain Name Servers and management of your domain records for the duration of your account.
    2. Calico UK will make no additional charges for modifying records if you wish to transfer your domain record to another DNS server. In these cases the annual charge of £30.00 (£40.00 for Centralnic domains) is still payable to Calico UK.
    3. If you wish to transfer your domain in its entirety to a new Registrar, no further charges will be levied by Calico UK.

  8. Customer Responsibilities
    1. Customers must inform Calico UK if they are going to sell a domain name. The Customer has no right to sell or transfer any other part of the service to any other person.
    2. Customers are responsible for backing up their website files.
Ecosse Special (Legacy Service)
  1. Service Description
    1. The Service is "Ecosse Special", comprising a combination of a domain name, email mailboxes, but no entitlement to Help Desk support.
    2. Two mailboxes are supplied, one of which is reserved as a "catchall" mailbox. Customers can buy further mailboxes to add to this combination.
  2. Domain Name Hosting
    1. Calico UK provides fully supported Domain Name Servers and management of your domain records for the duration of your account.
    2. Calico UK will make no additional charges for modifying records if you wish to transfer your domain record to another DNS server. In these cases the annual charge of £15.00 plus VAT is still payable to Calico UK.
    3. If you wish to transfer your domain in its entirety to a new Registrar, no further charges will be levied by Calico UK.
