WALKING & CYCLING
There are many walks in the immediate area through farmland, woodland and forest. For the more adventurous, advice can be given on walks in mountainous and wild, unspoilt areas only a short drive (under 1 hour) from Broomhill. Cycle hire can be arranged locally.
TOURING
See the splendour of the Highlands, from the Black Isle and Easter Ross, northwards to Caithness and John o'Groats, and westwards to Sutherland, Wester Ross and the Isle of Skye. Each is within a comfortable day's round trip. Advice is always available on where to go and what to see.
GOLFING
Many fine golf courses are within an hour's drive and several (Aigas, Muir of Ord, Inverness Torvean/Culcabock/Castle Heather, and Strathpeffer) are no more than 30 minutes away.
