| Entrance to Cromarty from the west.
Panning left you will see the inner Cromarty Firth, used since 1863 by the British Fleet. In 1915 H.M.S. Natal mysteriously blew up at anchor, with the loss of over 400 lives. Many of the seamen lost are buried in the churchyard at Cromarty's Gaelic Chapel. |
