The Quiraing, Skye

The Needle is a pinnacle 120 feet high on the Quirang, and the Table a flat summit above it from where you can get stunning views to the mountains of Torridon and Wester Ross if the weather is clear enough.

To get to it, drive north from Portree towards Staffin, turning off and taking the minor road to Uig. Stop at the top of this very narrow road which features a series of very sharp bends. A good, but often rather muddy path leads from here, running along the base of Meall na Suiramach towards the Quiraing.
