The Basicali service is a no-frills service aimed at websites for individuals and small businesses.

BasiCali features a unique combination of new domain name registration*, Windows 2008 web hosting and a 1GB mail service with unlimited mailboxes and forwarders. You can upgrade your package at any time by adding further web or email space. For further details, see below:

Web hosting features

Email hosting features

• 1GB mail service - allowance shared between unlimited mailboxes
• Authenticated SMTP, IMAP, POP3 and webmail access
• Master control panel for domain owner to add, delete and modify mail accounts
• Basic user configurable and optional advanced spam filters
• Check and retrieve mail from other external POP mail accounts
• Secure mail connections using SSL
• Autoforward and autoreplies
• Daily backups of mail stored on server.

Further mail storage capacity can be added to any BasiCali Windows package. This is charged at £20 + VAT per GB per annum.  Additional web allowance can be added at the rate of £25 + VAT pa per 50MB of hosting.

You will need to register or transfer a domain name for use with your BasiCali Windows package. The cost of the first domain is included in the package price. Further domains can be added to your BasiCali Windows package allowing your website to have multiple identities (eg www.abc.com and www.abc.co.uk). Each additional domain is charged at £30 + VAT per annum.*
